Fonda Wants Bush, Cheney Impeached
As revolting as it is to hear from Jane Fonda, it always reminds me of the absurdity of the Hard Left. This woman wants to impeach President George W. Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney for "war crimes":

We'll get right on that, Jane. How about right after your trial and execution for aiding and abetting the enemy during a time of war?

The Old Media's Antiwar Agenda Plods On
Now that Cindy Sheehan has "retired" from the antiwar movement, the Old Media is searching for a new face to help bring about America's defeat in Iraq. Newsweek's Anna Quindlen thinks their next "hero" could come from within the ranks of the U. S. military.
However, no single person has emerged that the Old Media can invest in the way they did Sheehan. Lt. Ehren Watada, who faced a court-martial for refusing to return to Iraq, didn't pan out. Other candidates failed to provide the spark that Sheehan did. The Old Media's latest choice: Sgt. Adam Kokesh. Kokesh recently received a "general discharge" from the Marine Corps for unlawfully demonstrating while in uniform.
Kokesh first gained attention as an activist who disrupted a Capitol Hill hearing during the testimony of Attorney General Alberto Gonzales. The Old Media latched onto Kokesh's story, with widespread newspaper reporting across the country.
Good Morning America brought Kokesh to its New York studios and paid for his hotel room. Other Old Media outlets are giving the turncoat far more attention than any man or woman serving honorably. Their agenda is clear - defeat at all costs.

Democrats Say Surge Failed Before Troops In Place
This week, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi pronounced "The Surge" of troops into Iraq to secure Baghdad "a failure." The Washington Post reports that the last troops for the operation will be in place TODAY.
Democrats are so fearful of the political danger to them that a successful conclusion in Iraq represents that they will go to any lengths to ensure America's defeat. Support the troops - don't call their mission a failure before they even get started.

Daily Old Media Hypocrisy Alert
ABC News is shrieking that new White House counselor Ed Gillespie has lobbying ties! Note to Brian Ross: Do a story on Harry Reid's three sons and a son-in-law who are lobbyists - then we might care.

CNN's Latest Media Scandal
CNN, "The Most Mistrusted Name in News" has done it again. Reporter Jeff Koinange allegedly paid for stories and helped publicize staged terrorist acts by a rebel group. Recall that former CNN president Eason Jordan admitted aiding Saddam Hussein's propaganda efforts in order to keep the network's Baghdad bureau operating.

Angry Gay Left Gets Their Man
When Gen. Peter Pace expressed his personal views of morality as they related to the U. S. military's gay tolerance policy of "Don't Ask, Don't Tell", earlier this year, I wrote here that the Angry Gay Left would seek his ouster as Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. That came to pass recently when Defense Secretary Robert Gates decided against Pace's renomination to the position.
Liberal gays are claiming victory, however the politics have more to do with Democrats doing whatever they can to ensure America's defeat in Iraq.
