House Strikes Back Against Muslim Intimidation
In a rare display of bipartisan common sense, the U. S. House voted yesterday to protect individuals who report suspicious activities from lawsuits filed by people who feel wrongly accused. The bill comes in response to legal action by the "Flying Imams", a group of Muslim clerics who deliberately provoked the passengers and crew of a recent flight with their suspicious antics.
Finally, elected officials are standing up to terrorist-enabling CAIR and the political correctness that if not opposed will help the jihadists kill us all.
Now I'll do my part:

Offended? Too bad.

Socialist America
The next time you hear a Democrat talk about the unfairness of the U. S. tax system, a statement usually made in a class warfare speech advocating another "soak the rich" proposal, remember this tidbit:
"...America's lowest-earning one-fifth of households received roughly $8.21 in government spending for each dollar of taxes paid in 2004. Households with middle-incomes received $1.30 per tax dollar, and America's highest-earning households received $0.41. Government spending targeted at the lowest-earning 60 percent of U.S. households is larger than what they paid in federal, state and local taxes. In 2004, between $1.03 trillion and $1.53 trillion was redistributed downward from the two highest income quintiles to the three lowest income quintiles through government taxes and spending policy."
Reat the entire report: Who pays - Who gets?

DNC Outsources Political Agenda To CBS
CBS News is taking the lead on pushing the Democrats' latest phony scandal, the removal of 8 U. S. attorneys who serve at the pleasure of the president.
White House Press Secretary Tony Snow calls out Harry Smith for his naked partisanship. WATCH

Crybaby Whines To The Times
David Iglesias, one the the eight U. S. attorneys removed last fall took his beef to the New York Times, who is only so willing to print anything to make the Bush administration look bad. The pages of the NYT is where serial liar Joe Wilson made his outrageous and false claims about Niger and yellowcake and the "Old Grey Lady" exposed classified counter-terrorism programs like the NSA surveillance program and the SWIFT terror-funding tracking program.
It was just a matter of time before Iglesias showed why he was removed. He has no honor. Iglesias failed to do the job the way the Justice Department wanted him to do it. As a political appointee, Iglesias served at the pleasure of the president. President Bush was displeased and Iglesias was told his service was no longer required. He should have been fired sooner.
Now that he has challenged his termination for "performance issues", his record of performance is going to be evaluated in the court of the public opinion. That should prove interesting and will likely justify his firing.

Fired U. S. Attorney WAS A Loser
It turns out that David Iglesias, the ousted U. S. attorney that is the Democrats' key witness in the latest psuedo-scandal (remember, U. S. attorneys, like ALL political appointees serve at the pleasure of the president and can be removed at any time for any reason) really was an ineffective federal prosecutor. The New York Times write-up of the controversy indicates that Iglacias should have been fired long ago.
Side story: Has anyone noticed how ACORN has been involved in many instances of voter registration fraud across the country? New Mexico, Ohio, Washington, Missouri...

Washington Post Defending Reno Massacre
It seems the Washington Post never tires of carrying the water for the corrupt Clinton administration while waging its political war against the Bush White House. In a staff editorial today, the Post contorts logic and history to suggest that Attorney General Janet Reno's firing of 93 U. S. attorneys in 1993 - even though some of them were ready to indict powerful Democrats - was not politically motivated, while Alberto Gonzales' sacking of 8 was part of some Rovian plot.
Wednesday's staff editorial was a recitation of Democratic National Committee talking points that concluded Gonzales "should never have been confirmed."

Gitmo Detainee Spills Guts, Planned 9/11, More
Terror mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed confessed in a U.S. military tribunal that he planned the 9/11 attacks as well as many other acts that would kill thousands. Attacks against several U. S. presidents and Pope John Paul II were among the plots. Mohammed also confessed to personally beheading Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl.
Terrorist enablers like the Associated Press and Human Rights Watch have protested the secret tribunals and interrogation techniques. Democrats have long-pressed for the detention facility at Guantanamo Bay be closed.
Bad idea - especially considering that it is WORKING!

BREAKING: Gays Will Call For Pace Firing
I'm getting the jump on this story because it will follow predictable lines. The Chicage Tribune is reporting:
"Gen. Peter Pace, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said Monday that he supports the Pentagon's "don't ask, don't tell" ban on gays serving in the military because homosexual acts "are immoral," akin to a member of the armed forces conducting an adulterous affair with the spouse of another service member."
How long will it be before the Angry Gay Left and the Old Media team up to demand that Gen. Pace be fired?
Count starting now...

Another Gay Martyr (Or Two) Is Born
I know I've been knocking gays lately, but the hits just keep on coming. According to a lawsuit filed recently, "American Idol" contestant Mario Vazquez was dropped from Season 4 because he "propositioned" a production crew employee in a studio restroom. The lawsuit was filed by Magdaleno Olmos, the production employee who was fired after reporting the incident of sexual harassment.
This is a popcorn moment for me - what position will the Angry Gay Left take?
To many gays, Vazquez is being punished for engaging in a "dating" ritual. Will gays support Vazquez if he sues "American Idol" for dumping him just because he is gay?
Then there is Olmos, who rebuffed the alleged advances of Vazquez. His lawsuit is based on an greatly expanded definition of "sexual harassment" that includes "same-sex" harassment, but mainly applies to "anti-gay" comments in the workplace from members of the same gender. Will gays surrender the advance of their agenda?
They'll try, but the Angry Gay Left can't have it both ways.

Media Ignores Gay Rape Story
Have you heard about the Air Force officer who stood trial and was just convicted for a string of rapes? Usually, misconduct by members of the military get widespread attention in the Old Media, especially when it involves a sex crime. In the past, Tailhook was a major scandal as were some incidents at the Air Force Academy. This case is different because the rapist is gay and has been found guilty of raping four men, all of them fellow servicemembers.
The perpetrator claims that his only crime was violating the military's policy of "don't ask, don't tell" that allowed him to serve despite his sexual orientation. This reasoning is tantamount to defending his actions by saying "she was asking for it." The good news is the jury wasn't buying any of the PC nonsense and sentenced Devery L. Taylor to 50 years in prison.
Ironically, more media attention would probably have resulted in an acquittal and a trip to the Oprah show. Taylor could have testified before the Democratic Congress against DADT and joined the pantheon of gay heroes like former New Jersey Governor Jim McGreevey, Rev. Ted Haggard's accuser Mike Jones and Mark Foley hitman Lane Hudson.

Fitzgerald Sacrificed Truth To Pursue Conviction
Few in Washington, DC are happy that I. Lewis “Scooter” Libby was convicted of perjury and obstruction of justice. For obvious reasons, the Bush administration is displeased, but at the same time relieved that Special Prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald will not be bringing charges against anyone else. Democrats are disappointed that this is likely the end of the line for the scandal that many believed was “worse than Watergate” and hoped would bring down the Bush White House.
The biggest losers are Old Media journalists, especially those who were part of the Valerie Plame Affair whose credibility is in ruins. More importantly, the Old Media’s reckless pursuit of a political agenda allowed the Supreme Court to rule that reporters could be required to testify in a federal case. That decision will have a long-lasting effect on news reporting that can only be remedied by Congress, something that like Social Security reform is often talked about but rarely addressed.
Justice itself was damaged in the course of the investigation and trial. Libby claimed a faulty memory caused the discrepancies in his various statements to FBI investigators and the Grand Jury and was convicted on the testimony of witnesses whose memories were equally faulty.
Fitzgerald’s prosecution of Libby was not a search for truth, but a pursuit of a conviction. Still unknown is whether a crime had been committed in the release of Valerie Plame’s name to reporters. If Mrs. Wilson’s status with the CIA was “classified” and NOT covert as some claim, there was no underlying crime and therefore no investigation should have taken place. That Richard Armitage was the “leaker” was known at the outset of the investigation and could have ended at that point as well. Joe Wilson is a proven liar, but that fact was not admissible at trial as were many other facts that would have provided context for Libby’s actions. The only explanation for Fitzgerald’s prosecutorial misconduct is ego.
Bush should pardon Libby TODAY and correct this miscarriage of justice.

Terrorists Test Airport Security With Ass Magnet
On the same day that the United States Senate voted to allow airport screeners to unionize (and treat Americans to the same quality government work product like that of the U. S. Postal Service and every state Department of Motor Vehicles) an Iraqi man was detained at the Los Angeles airport trying to board a plane with a magnet in his ass (sorry for the vulgarity, but it's necessary to illustrate the absurdity.)
Read the story and please tell me how officials could come to the conclusion that a man with a magnet in his ass with wires sticking out posed no danger.

Hillary On The Downlow
Why do gays support Democrats like Hillary Clinton? Every appearance Sen. Clinton makes is a media event – except for when she is the keynote speaker to the Human Rights Campaign, the leading gay rights lobbying and advocacy organization. It’s almost as if she’s ashamed to be seen with gays, but still wants their votes.
Even though Clinton told the group, "I am proud to stand by your side," it seemed she didn’t want anyone outside the room to see her doing it. There have been no sound bites, video clips or media coverage outside of gay newspapers and websites.
Mrs. Clinton running over to the Human Rights Campaign to pander to gays is the equivalent NEWS EVENT of George W. Bush’s 2000 speech at Bob Jones University. The difference is the protective media bubble that surrounds the former First Lady.
It was Mrs. Clinton’s husband who instituted “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” and signed the Defense of Marriage Act into law, but candidate Hillary railed against those policies in her speech to the HRC. Sen. Clinton’s duplicity should come as no surprise, but the complicity of gays who don’t seem to mind that a presidential candidate who says she supports their agenda doesn’t want to be seen with them is perplexing.

Ann Coulter Drops The “F” Bomb
The Left hates Ann Coulter. They hate her because of the truth she told about the Clintons, how she destroyed the liberal myths about Joe McCarthy and for revealing the godless church of liberalism they worship. The Left hates her because she is a woman who is educated, witty, beautiful and conservative. More than that however, they hate her because every now and then she goads them into exposing their true nature.
Such was the case on Friday at the Conservative Political Action Conference. In her remarks, Coulter said:
"I was going to have a few comments on the other Democratic presidential candidate John Edwards, but it turns out that you have to go into rehab if you use the word "Faggot."
It didn’t take long for the liberal outrage machine to get cranked up. Democratic National Committee chairman Howard Dean demanded that all Republican presidential candidates, all current and past Republicans and the fetuses of pregnant Republican women beyond the second trimester (DNC rules won’t permit referring to a pre-born person as an “unborn child”) denounce Coulter. At the prompting of the Old Media, many GOP presidential hopefuls predictably distanced themselves from her remarks.
I was in the room at CPAC when Ann said it. She was making a joke and it was funny. She was mocking the very process that is taking place right now – political correctness run amok. The reference was not so much about the effeminate, blow-dried, “Dick Cheney your daughter’s a lesbian” ambulance chaser, but how an actor’s off-camera comment that got someone’s panties in a bunch landed him in a re-education camp.
In a few of her vastly underreported comments Coulter said that she didn't believe gays should be discriminated against and that most of them should be Republicans because of the party's stand on crime and taxes.
That "faggot" has become the new “N-word” is evidence of how far our culture has drifted. For decades, the “F-word” was the four-letter one you couldn’t say on television, but now it's part of mainstream liberal vernacular. However, rallying behind a slur of their own, gays can take to the streets in their assless chaps and nipple piercings and skip the two centuries of slavery and a hundred years of separate lunch counters and drinking fountains to demand whatever they can extort from pandering politicians.
The Left has no claim to righteous indignation when it comes to “hate speech.” In January 2005 Howard Dean told a group of New York Democrats:
“I hate Republicans and everything they stand for.”
In the release about Coulter, Dean wrote:
"There is no place in political discourse for this kind of hate-filled and bigoted comments.”
Dean must mean that only DNC-approved hate speech is permissible. Dean and the lunatic leftists he represents don’t hold back on their venom when talking about Republicans, conservatives or Christians.
Try being gay, conservative and Christian to see what happens! I’ve devoted an entire chapter in my forthcoming book to the “Love Letters from the Left” that I have received over the past two years. "Faggot" is one of the nicest things the hateful Lefties have called me. There is no more vicious hate speech than that of the gay Left. I’m sure this column will prompt another wave of it. Matt Browner Hamlin of the Huffington Post interviewed me at CPAC about Ann’s comments but didn’t include them in his story since I told him exactly what I’ve written here.
Why is there a different standard for Ann Coulter? There were no repercussions when liberals produced a film about the assassination of George W. Bush and Cindy Sheehan wrote that she dreamed of traveling back in time to strangle the future president in his cradle. Liberals cheered when Bill Maher expressed disappointment that Vice President Dick Cheney wasn’t killed in the recent terrorist attack against him in Afghanistan. The shrieking from the Left about Coulter’s comment is as phony as Hillary Clinton’s latest position on (insert just about anything here).
True to form, John Edwards used the incident to raise funds for his presidential bid. If anything, faggots should be offended by being mentioned in the same sentence as the sleazy trial lawyer.
