Teddy Blasts Roberts, Alito

Sen. Edward Kennedy has an op-ed accusing Chief Justice John Roberts and Justice Samuel Alito of deceiving the Senate Judiciary Committee during their confirmation hearings last year. Apparently, the Massachusetts Democrat didn't know the pair of Bush nominees were conservatives.

Kennedy is an expert in deception though, having misled local law enforcement officers in Chappaquiddick in the death of Mary Jo Kopechne.

Rove Knocks Media's "Corrosive Role"

Karl Rove is lashing out against the Old Media following its failed attempt to have him "frog-marched" out of the White House. In a speech to graduating students at George Washington University, the architect of a string of electoral victories discussed the "corrosive role" journalists have had on politics and government.

Classic Rove. Journalism elites will be gnashing their teeth today. Which ones will fight back? Maybe Dan Rather or Mary Mapes will have the Democratic response.

"Peace Mom" Uses Deception To Buy Texas Land

Cindy Sheehan, the antiwar activist who has most recently been "starved for attention" can now officially be referred to as a stalker. She convinced a former New Orleans resident Gerry Fonseca to trick a Crawford, Texas landowner into selling a five-acre plot under the premise that "he was wiped out by Hurricane Katrina and wanted to start over." Fonseca confessed that the plan was to acquire the property for Sheehan, using the insurance money of her dead son, Casey in order to establish a permanent protest site near President George W. Bush.

I give her credit, because every time I think Sheehan can't be more pathetic, she proves me wrong.

Casey died, Cindy lied.

Suspected NSA Program Leaker Subpoenaed

Russell Tice, a former National Security Agency employee who is suspected of leaking details of the government's classified terrorist surveillance program is being hauled before a grand jury. Ever since the collapse of the phony Valerie Plame affair, the FBI has been going after treasonous government officials and the irresponsible members of the press who expose vital national security programs.

Of course, organizations like the American Civil Liberties Union complain that such investigations are meant to intimidate "whistleblowers" (like the lying Joe Wilson) and journalists (like the arrogant Dana Priest, James Risen and Eric Lichtblau) from revealing government "wrongdoing". Not coincidentally, Rachel Meeropol, granddaughter of executed traitors Julius and Ethel Rosenberg is a party to an ACLU lawsuit against the NSA.

Battle Of The War Blogs

Nothing provides a greater contrast between the reality of what is happening in Iraq and the Old Media's agenda-driven reporting than the following articles about the voices from the front.

Liberal Law Professor Supports Bolton

Harvard Law professor Alan Dershowitz, a prime example of a liberal elite who is out of touch with most of America is supporting the confirmation of recess-appointed American Ambassador to the United Nations John Bolton. He cites competence as an advocate for the United States as the reason he is urging Democrats to end their opposition.

The part of Dershowitz's Washington Times piece I found most interesting was actually a criticism of the Old Media's misperception of what America's U. N. ambassador's role should be:

Most importantly, Mr. Bolton understands that his job is to represent the United States and our interests to the world, and not the other way around. When The Washington Post's Dana Milbank chided Mr. Bolton for "disparaging the very organization he would serve," the Wall Street Journal's James Taranto promptly corrected him by saying, "the American ambassador to the U.N. is supposed to serve America, not the U.N."

Kurds Launch PR Campaign

Iraqi Kurds have launched a public relations campaign to thank America for liberating them from the tyranny of Saddam Hussein. It is a story that the Old Media hasn't reported so far, since it would interfere with the constant drumbeat of negativity about the war in Iraq. Al Kamen, a columnist for the Washington Post The covers the Kurds' story with a misnamed article: "The Iraq We Haven't Seen."

More accurate title: "The Iraq We Don't Want You To See."

Hezbollah Used UN Outpost As Shield

Hezbollah's tactic of using innocents as shields from behind which it launches rocket attacks on Israel has resulted in the deaths of hundreds of people in southern Lebanon and has now claimed the lives of United Nations observers. Of course, antiwar Democrats made sure a Code Pink protester got a pass to the gallery so there would be a disruption of Maliki's speech - much to the delight of the Old Media. Medea Benjamin's organization gave $600,000 to forces fighting American soldiers in Fallujah.

Thune Says AP Reporter Misquoted Him (She Lied)

Republican Senator John Thune told Roll Call on Friday that a journalist misquoted his remarks about the midterm elections. Associated Press writer May Clare Jalonick's headline read: Thune Says He'd Distance Himself From Bush. Thune told Roll Call that he was "shocked" at how his comments were "cherry-picked" to convey an opinion he didn't express and doesn't hold.

The South Dakota Republican is too diplomatic, but I'm going to call it as it is. Mary Clare Jalonick is DISHONEST and her story is a FRAUD. I was at the National Press Club on Wednesday, sitting right beside her. We were both there for the full hour and it was clear that Thune is fully supportive of President Bush and never encouraged those running this year to distance themselves from him and his policies. If there was any doubt about the senator's remarks Jalonick had ample opportunity to follow up for clarification. She did not. Instead, she posted her hit piece within an hour of the briefing.

Democrats and their Old Media associates took one woman's lie as fact because it is part of their collective agenda to amplify a split among Republicans - or in this case to manufacture one. This is the kind of disgracefully unethical reporting in the Dan Rather/Mary Mapes tradition that has rightfully led Americans to distrust the media.

Dems Hope To Oust Bolton

Democrats seem to believe that undermining U. S. foreign policy and American efforts against Islamofascism is a strategy that will return them to power. Thus far, the minority party and their Old Media operatives have:

1. Opposed renewal of the Patriot Act.
2. Exposed and opposed the National Security Agency's terrorist surveillance program.
3. Exposed and opposed the CIA terrorist detention centers in Europe and the Middle East.
4. Exposed and opposed the SWIFT program that monitored terrorist funding.
5. Misled Americans about the leak of NOTHING in the Valerie Plame affair.
6. Focused on Abu Ghraib and overlooked the atrocities committed by Saddam Hussein and more recently by terrorists in Iraq.
7. Presumed American soldiers to be guilty of committing atrocities in Iraq.

The list goes on and on...

The latest effort was revealed by Connecticut Democratic Sen. Chris Dodd, who promised a "bruising fight" over the confirmation of United Nations Ambassador John Bolton, who was installed via a recess appointment last year. One of the reasons given by Dodd: "Many ambassadors at the U.N. feel that he [Bolton] hasn't done a good job there."

That is probably true, if we're talking about the ambassadors of Iran, Syria and the other despotic states represented in the international organization. While many Americans have little use for the U. N., especially considering its abysmal record in conflict resolution, is weakening America's voice within that body something that the Democrats want to carry with them into the November midterms?

CIA Blogger Bounced

The Washington Post has a sympathetic story about a CIA subcontractor who was fired for blogging about the secret spy agency. The item that was her undoing concerned her opinion about torture and the Geneva Conventions. What is most interesting about the reporting of this incident is not the tone of the story but the reporter who wrote it. The author of the piece intended to evoke an emotional response in favor of a woman unfairly treated, betrayed by her government, if you will (sound familiar, Ms. Plame?) is none other than the treasonous Dana Priest.

Priest won a Pulitzer Prize - and hopefully a court appearance - for her exposure of the secret CIA facilities that hold some of the most dangerous terrorists in the world. The Washington Post reporter is married to the notorious William Goodfellow, a/k/a Boris Badinov.

Just connecting the dots, folks.

Saddam's Letter To The Editor

The Old Media periodically runs negative reports about the level of public services in Iraq to demonstrate how bad conditions are since the American invasion in 2003. Usually, the articles are about water, electricity and oil production (and oddly enough, not about the booming Iraqi stock exchange.) However, the biggest failure of the Iraqi government appears to be the postal system. That can be the only explanation for Saddam Hussein only recently receiving his copy of the Democratic National Committee's talking points about the war in Iraq.

The former dictator who is likely to be executed this year for the mass killings of his own people, quickly dashed off a letter that the New York Times dutifully printed. It the missive, Hussein endorses the Murtha plan for immediate withdrawal of U. S. forces from Iraq. He also echoes the accusations of Howard Dean, John Kerry, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Joe Wilson, Barbra Streisand, Cindy Sheehan, Chris Matthews, et al about the Bush administration's manipulation of intelligence, failure to find weapons of mass destruction and "non-existant" links to al Qaeda to justify the invasion. There is even a refence to Vietnam!

Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee Chairman Rahm Immanuel is reportedly considering Hussein for recruitment as a "Red to Blue" candidate in the 2006 midterms. DailyKos founder Markos Zuniga has plans to initiate a netroots campaign to support the "Butcher of Baghdad" in a Democratic primary challenge to the "hawkish" Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton. Hussein refused to comment about his political future saying through his laywer, former U. S. Attorney General Ramsey Clark, "Right now I am focused on my job as President of Iraq and Savior of Palestine. I don't have any plans beyond that."

AP Reporter Lies In Headline On Thune

A story by Associated Press Writer Mary Clare Jalonick carries a fraudulent headine: Thune Says He'd Distance Himself From Bush. I would know, I was one of a handful of reporters to attend the "pen and pad" briefing at the National Press Club today and sat right beside her.

Republican Senator John Thune of South Dakota said no such thing. He was talking about how some Republicans up for re-election this year have adopted a strategy to put some distance between themselves and President Bush, particularly about the conduct of the war in Iraq.

After working alongside the AP's White House reporters for two years, I am keenly aware of how they twist and misrepresent things, like Scott Lindlaw and his fraudulent "Clinton booed" story in 2004. However, I am astounded at the dishonesty of this reporter, even from the AP.

White House Press Corps Catfight!

While "Catfight" is a term used to describe a bit of nasty clawing between two women, I thought it was applicable to the review of of Hearst columnist Helen Thomas' book by the nominally-masculine Washington Post reporter, Dana Milbank. Thomas wrote that White House reporters were collectively softballing the Bush administration after 9/11 and failed to ask the tough quesetions that might have prevented the war in Iraq. This presupposes that the intelligence was manipulated to support the case for Saddan Hussein's ouster, but that's another discussion.

Milbank, one of the reporters Thomas criticized, objects to the characterization, since "softball tosser" seems to be the most insulting thing a White House reporter can be called. Milbank whines that he and his colleagues asked suitably biased questions.

Thomas complained that the White House Press Corps "gets to chummy" with those in power, a charge to which Milbank responds, "I’m rubber, you’re glue, whatever you say bounces off me and sticks to you!"

To support their own offended scribe, the Washington Post ran the review with the following photo from 1997. It appears that Thomas is either demonstrating her aggressive reporting technique or applying for that intern job...

A Classic Helen Thomas Smackdown

I knew that it wouldn't take long for Helen Thomas, Hezbollah's representative in the White House Press Corps to complain about Israel's reaction to being attacked. Press Secretary Tony Snow delivered a smackdown of the irascible octogenarian who continued to babble long after the caravan moved on:

HELEN THOMAS: The United States is not that helpless. It could have stopped the bombardment of Lebanon. We have that much control with the Israelis.

MR. SNOW: I don't think so, Helen.

HELEN THOMAS: We have gone for collective punishment against all of Lebanon and Palestine.

MR. SNOW: What's interesting, Helen --

HELEN THOMAS: And this is what's happening, and that's the perception of the United States.

MR. SNOW: Well, thank you for the Hezbollah view, but I would encourage you --

HELEN THOMAS: Nobody is accepting your explanation. What is restraint, a call for restraint?

MR. SNOW: Well, I'll tell you, what's interesting, Helen, is people have. The G8 was completely united on this. And as you know, when it comes to issues of --

HELEN THOMAS: And we stopped a cease-fire -- why?

MR. SNOW: We didn't stop a cease-fire. I'll tell you what --

HELEN THOMAS: We vetoed --

MR. SNOW: We didn't even veto. Please get your facts right. What happened was that the G8 countries made a pretty clear determination that the guilty party here was Hezbollah. You cannot have a cease-fire when you've got the leader of Hezbollah going on his television saying that he perceives total war -- he's declaring total war. When they are firing rockets indiscriminately --

HELEN THOMAS: We had the United Nations --

MR. SNOW: Please let me finish. I know this is great entertainment, but I want to finish the answer. The point here is they're firing rockets indiscriminately into civilian areas. The Israelis are responding as they see fit. You will note the countries that disagree with the --

HELEN THOMAS: -- bombardment of a whole country --

MR. SNOW: -- that disagree with the government of Israel in terms of its general approach on Palestine, many of our European allies agree that Israel has the right to defend itself, that the government of Lebanon has the right to control all its territory, that Hezbollah is responsible and that those who support it also bear responsibility. There is no daylight between the United States and all the allies on this. They all agreed on it. This was not difficult --

HELEN THOMAS: At that point, why did we veto a cease-fire?

MR. SNOW: We didn't veto a cease-fire.

HELEN THOMAS: Yes, we did.

MR. SNOW: No, we didn't. There was -- there was no cease-fire. I'm sorry --

HELEN THOMAS: Wasn't there a resolution?

MR. SNOW: No.

HELEN THOMAS: At the U.N.?

MR. SNOW: No -- no. You know what you've -- I see what you -- what happened was that there was conversation about "a cease-fire" that was picked up by some of the microphones when some colorful language made its way into the airwaves yesterday. And the President was continuing a conversation he'd had earlier with Prime Minister Tony Blair about staging. Would we like a cease-fire? You bet, absolutely. We would love to see a cease-fire. But the way you stage is that you make sure that the people who started this fight -- Hezbollah -- take their responsibility --

HELEN THOMAS: There was no veto at the U.N.?

MR. SNOW: No, there hasn't been a resolution at the VN -- U.N., whatever it is. (Laughter.) There hasn't been -- I was in Germany too long. There's been no resolution at the U.N.

HELEN THOMAS: Why aren't we proposing a truce, no matter who is to blame? At least stop the killing.

MR. SNOW: Because it wouldn't stop the killing. What it would do is it would say to the killers, you win.

HELEN THOMAS: Might save lives.

MR. SNOW: No, I don't think so. And I'm glad you raised this. You do not want to engage in a cease-fire that has a practical -- when you say to the Israelis, you guys just stop firing, when you have Hezbollah saying, we're going to wage total war, because Hezbollah would read that as vindication of its tactics, and the idea that if you get the right sort of videos on television, and you get the right things going on, you can allow them to behave with impunity. Even though they are weakening the sovereign government of Lebanon, they are acting independently; even though they have --

HELEN THOMAS: And bombarding Lebanon --

MR. SNOW: Even though they have received --

HELEN THOMAS: -- wipes out infrastructure.

MR. SNOW: All right, this is hectoring now.

Follow The Money - Of Republicans Only

Even since the Old Media and the Left waged war against the Nixon administration, their mantra has been, "Follow the money." They repeated it during the Iran-Contra Affair and more recently during the Abramof scandal. However, this only applies to Republicans and Conservatives, as liberals don't believe they should be bound to disclose their sources of funding for political activities. Nor do they believe that the government should be able to track terrorist funding either, as evidenced by the recent exposure of the SWIFT program.

A new group, the Democracy Alliance wants to funnel millions of dollars to liberal organizations, but under a veil of secrecy. Even though it is clear that the convicted insider trader, George Soros and his limousine liberal cronies will be behind it, some must think that it would be better if the connection were not so obvious.

Doe-May-Be-Me?

When Valerie Plame and Joe Wilson announced their lawsuit last week, the attention-starved pair named Vice President Dick Cheney, Karl Rove, Scooter Libby and ten others as being part of the "whispering campaign" that destroyed her career with the the CIA. The "others" are referred to as "John Does 1-10". A friend called me wondering if I was one of them. Good question.

Plame Feels Betrayed

On Friday, Valerie Plame, the most famous "secret agent" in the world announced that she would be suing Vice President Dick Cheney, Karl Rove, Scooter Libby and 10 others for ruining her career with the CIA. During her press conference she said that she feels that the government "betrayed her trust."

Valerie, how do you think America feels about you, a third-rate analyst being part of a group at the CIA undermining the policies of the United States? Why did you suggest that your politically motivated, blowhard, fourth-rate diplomat husband be sent on a sensitive mission that should have been handled within the agency?

Frank Rich Writes Anti-Bush Screed!

That the New York Times' Frank Rich would write an anti-Bush screed is not news. He's been doing it for years, even when his work appeared in the Old Grey Lady's "Style" section. Rich has just come out with a book, undoubtedly filled with the Leftist nonsense that the moonbats who comprise the rabid base of the Democratic Party crave. Of course he mentions me - in the past year I have been mentioned in nearly a dozen books critical of the Bush administration.

The Big Nothing Gets Smaller

The Valerie Plame Affair, the Old Media-generated "scandal" that I have been calling the Big Nothing for some time, got smaller today. Robert Novak, the journalist whose column got the whole thing started has disclosed that Karl Rove was not the "leaker", but a "confirming source". He wasn't even the primary source. That person has not been named, but Special Prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald knows who it is and is not going to prosecute him. Many have speculated that Novak's primary source was Deputy Secretary of State Richard Armitage.

Let's check the scorecard:

Karl Rove - leaked nothing, indicted for nothing, did nothing wrong
George W. Bush - leaked nothing, did nothing wrong
Dick Cheney - leaked nothing, did nothing wrong
Scooter Libby - leaked nothing, indicted for "conflicting testimony" (charges likely to be dropped)
Valerie Plame - not covert, national security not damaged
Joe Wilson - still a big liar and crybaby

Not a very Merry Fitzmas for liberals.

Poor Chris Matthews, he whined at such a rapid pace and high pitch that humans couldn't hear him on Wednesday's "Hardball". How bitter does AP's "objective" Pete Yost sound about Novak's revelations?

Old Media Laments "Too Many Choices"

The Old Media sees competing in the free marketplace of ideas as a threat to its fortunes, if not its very existence. Marc Gunther of Fortune magazine examines the theories of an author writing about the fragementation of American society as the result of cable television and the internet, then adds his own honest, yet predicable comments:

I think the explosion of choice has left us poorer in at least two arenas. The first is journalism. (Yes, as a Fortune writer, I've got a stake in the health of the mainstream media, which bloggers call the MSM.) The network evening newscasts, big-city newspapers and the national news magazines once had the money, access, skills, commitment and power to deliver lots of original reporting and put important issues on the national agenda. Today, they are all diminished.

To pick a single, timely, example, The Tribune Co. announced just the other day that its newspapers would be closing foreign bureaus in Johannesburg, Moscow, Lebanon and Pakistan. This is happening all over newspaperdom and it happened years ago at the broadcast networks.

Yes, there is more information available to us than ever, but I don't think we are better informed. Niche media will, inevitably, continue to weaken mass media.

I disagree on this point because the Old Media squandered its monopoly with its baised reporting. If it had been practicing objective journalism, the market would not have demanded more choice and better reporting. Further, NPR and PBS would cease to exist were it not for taxpayers subsidizing its liberal drivel.

The second arena where we are worse off is politics. This is related to journalism, as the moderate and responsible (okay, bland) voices of the MSM get drowned out by partisan, opinionated cableheads and bloggers.

Just who does this fellow think the "moderate and responsible voices" are? Chris Matthews, Eleanor Clift, Terry Gross?

Novak Further Deflates The "Big Nothing"

Robert Novak, the journalist whose 2003 column started what became the Valerie Plame Affair, or what I have been calling the "Big Nothing" for a long time is breaking his silence about his sources. Special Prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald recently infomed Novak that the investigation that directly affects him has been concluded. Every development in this case clearly demonstrates this whole thing is an Old Media generated political prosecution.

The only question to be answered: How does this information affect the sealed indictment against Karl Rove?

NYT Cherry-Picked GOP Rep's Critique Of Bush

I do get tired of talking about the New York Times. I'd stop writing about the bias of the Old Grey Lady if it would play if straight - just once. It recently published a story about a letter leaked to the Times from Rep. Peter Hoekstra, Republican chairman of the House Intelligence Committee to President Bush that was critical of his handling of some intelligence matters.

Jack Kelly at Real Clear Politics points out that two key paragraphs were left out of the article, dealt with only in passing:

Rep. Hoekstra accused Mr. Kappes of being one of the leakers: "I have been long concerned that a strong and well-positioned group within the Agency intentionally undermined the Administration and its policies," he wrote. "This argument is supported by the Ambassador Wilson/Valerie Plame events, as well as by the string of unauthorized disclosures from an organization which prides itself with being able to keep secrets. I have come to this belief that, despite his service to the DO, Mr. Kappes may have been part of this group.

"Further, the details surrounding Mr. Kappes' departure from the CIA give me great pause," Rep. Hoekstra wrote. "The fact is, Mr. Kappes and his Deputy, Mr. Sulick, were developing a communications offensive to bypass the Intelligence Committees and the CIA's own Office of Congressional Affairs. One can only speculate on the motives, but it clearly indicates a willingness to promote a personal agenda. Every day we suffer from individuals promoting their personal agendas. This is clearly a place where we do not want or need to be."

Distortion and deception - an essential part of the NYT style book.

The Washington Post is offering a hit piece on an organization that is working to stem the onslaught of litigation that has endangered religious expression across the United States. The Alliance Defense Fund is trying to counter the American Civil Liberties Union's efforts to drive religion from the public square.

The article makes the ADL's $20 million annual budget raised from private citizens and groups sound enormous, without mentioning how the opposition gets its money to litigate against the Boy Scouts, school districts and local governments. Known to few, the Congress gave the ACLU the "right" to recover the costs of litiagion from those it sues. The organization builds its war chest mostly on the backs of American taxpayers.

Liberals Threaten Violence Over Abortion Photos

The tolerant Left is being driven to violence in the sleepy little Western Pennsylvania town of Kittanning. What has liberals so upset is an educational campaign being conducted by the Center for Bio-Ethical Reform that features box trucks with images of aborted babies displayed on their sides being driven through the streets.

The First Amendment seems to have no relevance when it comes to liberals want to control the debate about abortion and maintain the image that the "right to choose" is a noble constitutional principle instead of the horrific, inhumane killing of unborn children. It is a holocaust that has claimed more than 43 million lives in the United States since the 1973 Roe v. Wade decision.

Patrick Leahy, Ted Kennedy and Dick Durbin as well as a "coalition of civil rights groups".

Democrats and their liberal supporters are "troubled" (read scared to death) over Holmes' views about affirmative action, capital punishment and school choice. The believe an African-American must share their view on these issues - or be destroyed.

The weakness of their case against Holmes is revealed by the focus on his previous membership in an all-male club. The same tactic was used against Samual Alito during his confirmation hearing to become a Supreme Court justice. The Democrats' hypocrisy was exposed when Ted Kennedy's membership in the all-male Owl Club was reported in the press.

Liberal Journalism Elite Calls Cartoon "Indefensible"

Over the years, patriotic Americans have seethed about despicable portrayals of American soldiers in the political cartoons of Ted Rall and Mike Luckovich, while liberal journalism elites defended their publication. But now we see where these First Amendment defenders want to draw the line.

The publisher defended it anyway.

Will NY High Court Boost GOP Today?

The New York State Court of Appeals is expected to rule on gay marriage today. Will their decision to allow same-sex couples to marry put the issue front and center in the 2006 election like Massachusetts did in 2004? With one bang of the gavel, activist judges could galvanize the millions of social conservatives who have so far been lacking the motivation to participate in this year's midterms. Developing...

UPDATE: Apparently not.

Democrats Reinforce Tax and Spend Reputation

Democrats have tried to shed their image as tax and spenders, but that hasn't been going too well. When they're not cutting and running from Iraq, Democrats are looking for ways to take more of your money to support the bloated federal and state bureaucracies. Republican control of Congress has slowed the growth of federal spending and lowered taxes across the board, but Democrats are chomping at the bit to regain power and increase taxes and spending.

Democratic governors have shown precisely what would happen at the national level if there were a Speaker Pelosi and a Majority Leader Reid. Virginia Democratic Governor Mark Warner, mentioned as a presidential contender, promised not to raise taxes if elected governor. He did.

Now Democrat John Corzine, who left the Senate to become New Jersey's governor, has proposed a tax increase after reneging on a campaign pledge not to do so. Assembly members of his own party have balked, obviously remembering what happened to Jim Florio in 1994. At present, the government of the Garden State has ground to a halt, unable to operate without a budget in place.

What I find interesting about the debate is how the Old Media downplays the numbers behind the proposed tax hike. They report that the "one penny" increase in the sales tax would cost each household and average of $275 per year.

Raising the sales tax from 6% to 7% is one penny ON EVERY DOLLAR. In reality that is a 17% increase in the tax rate! The sales tax is a regressive tax that impacts consumers at the lowest income levels because it is based on consumption.

The impasse will most likely be resolved by a compromise that raises taxes. Because of the attention focused on this incident, voters across the country will have valuable information they can use in November.

Immigration, the economy, Iraq and the greater war on terror, leaking national security secrets to the press, gay marriage, flag burning, terrorist rights and now taxes - all seem to be working in favor of Republicans in the midterms.

Ask Any Journalist

Let's do an agenda check. The next time you talk to a journalist, ask if they know who Cindy Sheehan is. Then ask if they know who Paul R. Smith is.

Hint: One is a patriot, the other is a traitor.

Thank a veteran today for America's freedom. Thank God for America's veterans.

Worst 20th Century Prez Calls For Less Secrecy

Former President Jimmy Carter is supporting the traitors at the New York Times by offering an opinion piece calling for less government secrecy. Let's take the old peanut farmer at his word and start with John Kerry's FULL military service records and how his dishonorable discharge was changed. Then we can move on to the Barrett Report, which details how Bill and Hillary Clinton abused the power of the federal government to protect their friends and punish their political enemies.

Good call, Jim-muh.
